There is a preconceived idea that custom designing a piece of jewelry is more expensive, however with our new state of the art manufacturing facility and qualified production team, it is quite the opposite. Unlike the vast majority of jewelry stores in our area, we have an intimate understanding of the best and most cost effective way to manufacture your piece. Whether it is creating a one of a kind engagement ring or restyling a piece of jewelry from the past, you will be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to create your very own design.
Our team is made of trained designers who will sit down for a free consultation. You may find inspiration from preexisting pieces in our showcase or a picture pulled off the internet. During this consultation, we will begin highlighting the attributes you wish to include in the future piece and may begin with a simple sketch before moving to the next phase in the design process. While it isn’t required, booking a design consultation ahead of time can allow our team to better prepare for your visit
After a design has been selected, the jeweler will approximate both the time and cost to manufacture the piece. Most custom design pieces can be done in 3-4 weeks and sometimes less. We can also provide several estimates in different metals to create the piece within your desired budget.
The CAD system or Computer Aided Design has revolutionized the jewelry industry. It brought the ancient techniques of jewelry design to the 21st century. During this phase of the design process, the customer will be able to review either a wax model or computer rendering of the piece. At this point, additional changes or alterations can be made with no additional cost. Once the wax model or rendering is approved, the piece moves to casting.
Once the design has been approved, the piece is ready for casting. The act of turning your design into a final piece typically takes 1-2 weeks. Everything from casting to gemstone setting is done under our roof, further eliminating any middlemen.
Once your finished piece of jewelry is completed, a complimentary appraisal is done to facilitate insurance replacement. Rings with center diamonds are accompanied with laboratory reports.
